The scripture for today is Romans 11:33

Romans 11:33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!

In Romans chapter 11 the apostle Paul clarifies God’s love toward both Jews and Gentiles. God, through His infinite love and grace, planned all along to reach not only the Jewish people but the entire world. The Jews, unfortunately, did not recognize Christ or His mission. But through their rejection of Him, the gospel was sent throughout the whole world. While those who are physically Jews have no advantage in their standing before God, they have no disadvantage either. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. But because of His great love for us, God sent His Son to be the atonement for the sin of the entire world. Through Christ Jesus, Jews and Gentiles can be born again into the body of Christ and become one with their Creator.

The riches, wisdom, and knowledge of God are beyond our capacity to fully grasp. The plan of salvation is the expression of the depth of God’s love and wisdom. The enemy, who through deception and lies, lured mankind away from the fellowship with God that would have ensured their eternal happiness. But God raised up a people through whom the Savior of the world would come. “He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the children of God, even to them that believe on His name.” John 1:11-12  “By means of these fathomless resources of glory and grace God has been able to bring good even out of evil” The SDA Bible Commentary Vol. 6, p. 613

Although God’s ways are “unsearchable and His judgments and His ways past finding out,” He, none the less, directs us through faith in His word. “God reveals to us as much of His wisdom and purposes as is for our best good. Beyond that we must rely upon the ample evidences of His love, mercy, and power.” Ibid

God bless you as you continue in His service.
