The scripture for today is Psalms 18:31

Psalms 18:31 For who is God, except the LORD? And who is a rock except our God?

When we look to the heavens and see the unspeakable majesty and vastness of God’s creation, it leaves us in awe. His creation is splendor beyond words; it reflects a greatness, intelligence and power that is beyond our ability to fully understand.  We stand in awe and respond in worship to the Creator. “None is worthy of adoration but the self-existent, eternal, infinitely perfect, and all-merciful Being. A fountain emitting continual supplies of grace and goodness.” Adam Clarke

The word of God expresses the incomparable power of God, and by faith we see Him in His word.  “Among the gods, there is none like You, O Lord; Nor are there any works like Your works.” Psalms 86:8 "No one is holy like the LORD, for there is none besides You, nor is there any rock like our God.” 1 Samuel 2:2 "For who is God, except the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God?” 2 Samuel 22:32 “I am the LORD, and there is no other; There is no God besides Me. I will gird you, though you have not known Me.” Isaiah 45:5

A just and holy Creator offers Himself to mankind. His declaration of supremacy is not idle boastfulness, it is a declaration of truth, designed to lead us to Himself and away from that which deceives, corrupts and ultimately destroys. God knows that He alone is the source of life and He desires that we find the life that He offers, eternal life. While there may be many imposters, there is only one God. He created us and loved us enough to redeem us. It is His love that cries out to us, "Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.” Isaiah 45:22

God bless you as you continue in His service.
