Happy Sunday Everyone,

The scripture for today is Jeremiah 32:27

Jeremiah 32:27 Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

God is actually confirming Jeremiah's words written earlier in the same chapter: "Ah Lord GOD! Behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee”  Jeremiah 32:17

In the context of our daily lives, we can be confronted with situations and circumstances that appear insurmountable, and for us they may be.  The things that seem ominous and immovable to us, however, are not a problem for God. No matter what we are confronted with, no matter how impossible things may appear, our Father, who created everything that we see out of nothing, is the One who says, "Fear not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your God: I will strengthen you; yea, I will help you; yea, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."Isaiah 41:10  

Quite often we have formulated in our minds how we would like things to work out while believing that what we have in our minds is an impossible outcome. The secret to overcoming our difficulties is to surrender everything, including the outcome, to God. God cannot be manipulated, He can only be believed and trusted. Faith (belief and trust) in Him, and Him alone, secures for us the victory that we did not earn. As we put all of our confidence, all of our faith in Him, we will discover that nothing is too hard for God.
