Isaiah 27:6
The scripture for today Isaiah 27:6
Isaiah 27:6 He shall cause them that come from Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.
“God planned that Israel should bring to all the world the knowledge of salvation. When national Israel failed, the task was given to spiritual Israel, the Christian church.” The SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 4, pp. 206
“In proclaiming the truths of the everlasting gospel to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people, God’s church on earth today is fulfilling the ancient prophecy, “Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.” Isaiah 27:6. The followers of Jesus, in co-operation with heavenly intelligences, are rapidly occupying the waste places of the earth; and, as the result of their labors, an abundant fruitage of precious souls is developing. Today, as never before, the dissemination of Bible truth by means of a consecrated church is bringing to the sons of men the benefits foreshadowed centuries ago in the promise to Abraham and to all Israel,—to God’s church on earth in every age,—“I will bless thee, … and thou shalt be a blessing.” Genesis 12:2.” Ellen G. White, Prophets and Kings, p. 703
The prophecy cannot fail. God said it, and it will be fulfilled just as God Almighty proclaimed. Through the church, God will fill the face of the earth with fruit, the fruit of the harvest of souls. Each of us who are a part of the body of Christ, spiritual Israel, have a prophetic anointing upon us. We are God’s instruments. He will use us to proclaim the final message to the world; the message of the three angels of Revelation chapter 14. That message will resonate throughout the world and, because of the light of the gospel, the face of the earth will be filled with fruit. Nothing can stop the power of God. What He has declared will surely come to pass.
God bless you as you continue in His service.
