November 6

Happy Tuesday Everyone,

The scripture for today is Galatians 6:9-10

Galatians 6:9-10 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

The challenges of responding to the demands that are made on our time, resources and energy can make us weary. It is during those times that we must look to the source of our life and strength. Often it takes power beyond our natural ability to move ahead just one more step, but move ahead we must. Regardless of the sacrifice, regardless of the resistance of the flesh, our choice must be to do good to everyone. In the natural, reaping a harvest is directly related to the faithfulness of the farmer does the work of cultivating his fields. The more he puts into it, the more he gets out of it. The same principle holds true spiritually as well. The more of ourselves we surrender to Christ the more blessed we become.  Our blessings are received as we see the needs of others met through the Spirit of Christ living His life of unconditional love through us.

Due season always comes. Whether we reap a harvest or not is dependent upon whether we grow weary and give up or whether we persevere in pursuing the things required. Just as natural work will lead to the production of a sustaining natural crop, "doing good unto all men" leads to that which supports us spiritually, for "your Father who sees in secret Himself shall reward you openly." Matthew 6:4

God bless you as you continue in His service.
